Terea Ruby Wave

Ruby Wave — the strawberry-jam Terea, picked when Mauve's dark forest fruits feel too earthy and you want the menthol pulled back to a whisper.

What is Terea Ruby Wave? Terea Ruby Wave is the European-recipe red-berry stick from Philip Morris's heated tobacco lineup, built exclusively for IQOS Iluma. Inside the Terea range, it sits at the sweeter end of the menthol-berry shelf: where Yugen leans purple-fruit-cool and Mauve leans dark and brambly, Ruby Wave plays garden strawberry and raspberry against a malty tobacco base. The menthol is present but soft — more of a finishing rinse than a freeze.

Flavor profile

• Base: full-bodied toasted tobacco with a satisfying malty depth, lifted by indulgent red garden berries (think strawberry preserves and ripe raspberry) and a quiet floral undertone
• Strength: 3/5 — balanced, a comfortable mid-weight that suits long sessions
• Finish: sweet red-berry exhale with a light cool tail

If you've worked through the berry side of the Terea Ruby Wave red berry sticks family already, the easiest way to place this one: less icy than Mauve, sweeter than Yugen, more dessert than herbal. Reviewers who chase the berry menthol Terea profile tend to keep coming back to Ruby Wave specifically because the malty tobacco floor stops the sweetness from going syrupy.

How it works with IQOS Iluma IQOS Iluma replaced the older blade with SMARTCORE Induction: a tiny steel heating element is sealed inside each Terea stick, and the device heats it electromagnetically from the outside. Nothing burns. The stick is heated to release a nicotine-containing aerosol, not smoke, which means no ash, no lingering ashtray smell, and no blade to snap or clean. Drop a Ruby Wave into your Iluma One "i", Iluma Standard "i", or Iluma Prime, wait for the haptic, and pull.

Inside the stick Each Terea Ruby Wave stick contains a real cast-leaf tobacco plug infused with the berry-menthol flavor system, the embedded steel SMARTCORE element, a cooling section, and a cellulose acetate mouthpiece filter, all wrapped in a paper sleeve with food-grade seals. There is no pearl capsule in this variant — the flavor is delivered consistently from first puff to last. Single-use; one stick per session.

Health & nicotine Terea Ruby Wave is a real heated tobacco product and it contains nicotine, which is addictive. It is not a cessation aid and we make no "safer" or "healthier" claim against any other product. Sold to adults 21 and over only, for personal use.
