Terea Summer

Summer — a juicy peach-and-floral seasonal stick for smokers who find Ruby Wave too berry and plain menthol too flat.

This is the poolside Terea: ripe stone fruit, a whisper of citrus, and just enough cool to keep it crisp in July. Light-bodied, uplifting, and easy to chain through an afternoon.

What is Terea Summer?

Terea Summer (originally launched as Summer Wave) is Philip Morris's seasonal fruit-forward release for the IQOS Iluma series, built around ripe peach with floral accents and a soft menthol fade. It sits in the European Terea range as the tropical option — fruitier than Yellow Menthol, lighter than Ruby Wave, and far more aromatic than Turquoise. If you've been hunting tropical Terea sticks rather than the usual berry or mint, this is the one.

Flavor profile

• Base: ripe, juicy peach at the heart, lifted by soft floral notes and a faint lemon-lime top, with a mild menthol kiss underneath
• Strength: 2/5 — very light, fruit-led, more aroma than punch
• Finish: clean peach-and-citrus cool fade

How it works with IQOS Iluma

Terea Summer is built for the IQOS Iluma series and won't fit older blade-style devices. Iluma uses SMARTCORE Induction Technology — a tiny steel heating element sealed inside the stick itself, warmed by the device's induction coil instead of an external blade. The tobacco is heated, not burnt, so what you inhale is a nicotine-containing aerosol rather than smoke, and there's no ash and far less lingering odor than a cigarette. Insertion is straightforward: drop the stick in, wait for the haptic cue, draw normally for roughly 14 puffs or six minutes.

Inside the stick

Each Terea Summer stick contains a compressed real-tobacco plug infused with the peach-floral flavor system, the embedded SMARTCORE steel heating element, a cooling section, and a cellulose acetate mouthpiece filter sealed at both ends. There's no pearl capsule in this flavor — the menthol and fruit notes are dosed directly into the plug, so the taste profile stays consistent from first puff to last. Single-use; discard after one session.

Health & nicotine

Terea Summer is a real-tobacco heated tobacco product and contains nicotine, which is addictive. It is not a smoking cessation device and is not marketed as safer or healthier than cigarettes. Sales are restricted to adults 21 and over.

If you're searching to buy Terea Summer Wave USA-side without waiting on European resellers, this listing covers it: authentic IQOS Iluma Summer compatible sticks, 200-count, stocked domestically. The Terea Summer Wave review consensus is consistent — it's the lightest, most aromatic stick in the lineup, closer to a flavored iced tea than a traditional tobacco profile, and ideal for warm-weather rotation alongside heavier picks like Sienna or Bronze.
